Having to watch an ad for a chicken sandwich
before I could see a news report
about the attack on a U.S. Military base in Kenya
where four humans hated us enough
to die and go to heaven – is an appetite suppressant
I don’t know where all of this killing will lead us
But two clowns riffing on a sandwich while
seated in their car at Sonic
followed by a news report about blood and gore
doesn’t make me salivate
or win the fucking greasy chicken sandwich war
