For the fairy King and Queen

Yesterday, I discovered the shore of the pond in the park.

Neighborhood dog walkers and joggers welcomed me with hellos.

I claim it for the fairy king and queen

who live across the sea.

I do not care other people enjoyed the park before me

and have built up a city around it.

Hence forth,

this day will be called Albert’s Day.

It will be celebrated as a national holiday

and the city has been renamed Albertville.

Soon I will march to the District of Albert to claim my continent.

I will issue an edict that all the inhabitants must leave

and resettle in the deserts and arid regions,

but I promise to send blankets and food.
