Saturday rain

after rain

strange bird swims upon water

large bill and long neck

geese and mallards glide to the other side

and give it space

only the heron seems unconcerned

gentle rain returns

concentric circles replicate to shore

water fowl, turtles and frogs rejoice

I walk home in the rain
