Somewhere is a human in the tourist trade
Who smiles blandly, stares daggers into backs turned
In denial of paying a living wage
Somewhere work is viewed as fair trade
And tax loopholes don’t translate vacations
Into a business expense
Somewhere those who don’t pay taxes
Are incarcerated in the same gulag prisons
That poor thieves go for vacations
Somewhere a patron’s cup isn’t half empty
Demanding more, more, more
Somewhere condescension isn’t tolerated
And every business has a sign that reads
No Kindness, No Respect, No Service
