Outside the harbor / Icebergs of hate / Drift in warmer seas
Bacon tongue sizzles / Words of fire / Serves edible ash
City of churches / On microphone / Queer poet self-immolates
Drive home / Open windows / Blow burnt soul from hair
Microwave stale coffee / Sip yesterday on porch / Stir world awake
Pan edge of sky / Egg yolk breaks / Folds omelet clouds
Round-bellied red bird / Wants more than his share / Chases others away
Blue calico / Stalks quietly / Oblivious, bird still feeds
Hungry watchers / Perch in trees / Twitter no warning
Left paw scatters / Crimson feathers / in green grass
