because he’s bored and is not looking for his next victim
The scruffy person on the park bench who said hi
is not a stalker or rapist; he’s just friendly
The woman reading a book in a coffee shop
is not eavesdropping or recording you for the FBI
The young couple with a smart phone taking a selfie
are not spying on you; they don’t even know you exist
The man with ear buds at the gas pump
is not a secret government agent
The brown couple smiling and speaking Spanish are not talking
about you; they are in love and it’s none of your business
The Asian couple wearing face masks is not why we have a pandemic
shut your mouth, put on a mask and do your part to stop its spread
The black man jogging through the neighborhood
is not a personification of your racist fears – put the shotgun down
Your political or religious beliefs are not a free pass
that entitles you to be an asshole or a bully
Guardians of the Galaxy is a movie based on a comic book
walking around like a heavily armed raccoon looks stupid and is ridiculous
