To the people
that gather each day
with coolers
at the basketball court
in the park
To the people
hosting house parties
because the bars
are closed
To the people
who partied
at the beach
until they were closed
To the people
who went on cruises
because prices
have dropped
To the people
who traded away
their stocks before
they warned America
To the people
who voted
a trillion dollars
for big business
but won’t help
the working man
To the people
who make employees
come to work
while they manage
remotely from home
To the people
who are not
in a danger group
for infection
you may be safe
But you are killing
your grandmother
your family
your neighbors
and your friends
Stop it!
